Mike Bender is a screenwriter and author with such credits as the MTV Movie Awards, Not Another Teen Movie, and the #1 NY Times Bestselling “Awkward Family Photos.”
In 2009, after seeing a vacation photo hung in his parent’s house, he created the website AwkwardFamilyPhotos.com with high school friend, Doug Chernack. Within a week, the site had gone viral. Today, the Webby Award-winning blog is one of the most popular in the world and the brand has grown to include six books, greeting cards, a board game, a touring museum exhibition, and a new podcast: http://bit.ly/awkwardfamilypodcast.
Bender is also a children’s book author and The Book About Nothing debuts Spring 2018.
