First, here’s a little about Matt and his amazing writing achievements:
Matt Dickerson is the author of numerous works of fiction and nonfiction in a variety of genres, including fly fishing, outdoors, nature and environmental writing. Matt’s works appear in a variety of print and online magazines and he is a popular speaker on a variety of topics including creative creative writing, fantasy literature, especially on the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. His works of fiction include two companion volumes of medieval historical heroic romance titled The Finnsburg Encounter and The Rood in the Torc: The Song of Kristinge, Son of Finn. He has also published a three volume fantasy novel collectively titled The Chronicles of Gondisle and a pair of works of creative narrative nonfiction books on nature, ecology, trout and flyfishing titled Downstream: Reflections on Brook Trout, Flyfishing and the Waters of Appalachia and Trout in the Desert on flyfishing human habits in the cold waters of the arid southwest. Matt is currently a professor at Middlebury College and is co-directing and teaching the Northern Pen Young Writer’s Conference.
